Recent News Update for linking PAN with Aadhaar

Last date of linking PAN with Aadhaar has been extended till 30th June, 2023

To link PAN and Aadhaar cards online, taxpayers can visit the Income Tax Department's e-filing portal or the UIDAI website. Here are the steps to link PAN and Aadhaar cards online:

Visit the Income Tax Department's e-filing portal or UIDAI website.

Income Tax Department's e-filing portal: 

https://www.incometax.gov.in/iec/foportal/

Click on the 'Link Aadhaar' option.

Enter your PAN number, Aadhaar number, name as per Aadhaar, and captcha code.

Click on the 'Link Aadhaar' button.

A pop-up message will appear confirming the linking of PAN and Aadhaar cards.

Taxpayers can also check the status of their PAN and Aadhaar linking by visiting the same websites and clicking on the 'Check Status' option.
